by Feb. 1st if the amount you paid is over $600 to a lender. If you paid
interest on a mortgage and do not receive a statement by Feb. 1st chances are
its under $600. But call the lender and get the amount of interest you have
paid. Even if its under $600 and you itemize, the amount will help reduce
your taxes.
